Originally from Selkirk, Darren graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2018 and began working in NHS Forth Valley based in Stirling where he gained experience in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, community rehab, aged care, and medical. In 2020 Darren decided to specialise in MSK and gained a full time position with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. He moved into the private sector full time in 2022 at a clinic in
Glasgow’s south side where he stayed until leaving this post in July 2023 to go travelling Australia and New Zealand with his partner Fiona, before returning to Scotland in March 2024.
Darren has experience working with all levels of patient from everyday work injuries to elite athletes returning to their sport.
He enjoys helping to rehabilitate people and educate them on the complexity of their bodies, and what might be required for them to return to achieving their goals.
In his spare time Darren enjoys playing rugby, competing in CrossFit, golfing, and singing in bars/ pubs
wherever he is wanted!
