We are delighted to welcome
Mr. Rehan A. Siddiqi, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon BSc Hons MS Orth MCh Orth FRCS Ed (Tr & Orth) to our clinic.
Mr. Siddiqi will run a private clinic on a Tuesday evening approximately twice a month from 5pm to 7pm. here at our premises.
If viscosupplementation is the treatment recommended – Mr. Siddiqi uses a single injection either Durolane or Optivisc, therefore requiring only one appointment rather than the previous three consecutive appointments. There is good evidence for the efficacy of this product.
If you have received viscosupplementation treatment from Mr. Tiemessen and would like to be seen by Mr. Siddiqi – all patients will require to have had an x-ray of the affected joint within the last 12 months.
We have enclosed a consent form which, when filled in, will allow Mr. Siddiqi to view these images before your first visit.

New patient Consultation- £100.00
Review patient Consultation – £50.00
Review for Steroid & Local Anaesthetic Injection only – £90.00 (price inclusive of consumables)
Review for Viscosupplementation (single Durolane injection) – £350.00 (price inclusive of consumables)
Review for Viscosupplementation (single Optivisc injection) – £200.00 (price inclusive of consumables)
Hydro dilatation Injection for frozen shoulder – £200.00 (price inclusive of consumables)
Payment is by Cash or Cheque on the day of appointment.

If someone would like to see Mr. Siddiqi for the first time – referrals will be by letter from ourselves or from your GP- addressed to Mr. Siddiqi at Border Physiotherapy Clinic (see above for address). If self-referring a recent x-ray will still be required.
