Welcome to our 2 new Physiotherapists.

We have 2 new physiotherapists that have joined the team here at the clinic.

Laura McLean is working on alternate Fridays to start with and in August will be here every Wednesday.

Laura completed a BSc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy in 2002 at Queen Margaret University. She worked for 2 years as a rotational physiotherapist before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Since this time she has worked across UK in a number of different NHS clinics and for the Royal Air Force. In 2008 she worked in New Zealand at the Christchurch Hospital. Her sporting background includes working for the USA team during the touch rugby world cup. In 2014 she completed her Masters degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Laura has been working in a Team Lead role within the Edinburgh Community Physiotherapy Service for the past 8 years treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions. She is currently undertaking specialist training in the area of long term pain.

Ryan Crockatt is working on Monday evenings.

Ryan completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Napier university in 2006.

He then went on to complete a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at the University of Northumbria in 2009.

Ryan spent 3 years in a rotational role within the NHS then progressed to a specialist senior MSK post in 2012.  Since retiring from rugby Ryan has worked as lead physiotherapist for athletics at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow which was a great experience.
