Border Physiotherapy Clinic sponsoring Kelso Bonspiel.

Border Physio Clinic has agreed to help sponsor the Marie Curie Bonspiel Kelso on the 26th and 27th February 2016.

We think this is a worthwhile cause.
Marie Curie has a huge team of volunteers who give their time to drive, to sit with and to provide alternative therapies, to mention only a few services available to both patients and next of kin. If things become difficult to manage at home there is also Hospice inpatient care for specialist symptom control and treatments.
There is an information service available for all those involved on a wide range of topics to help them cope emotionally and practically. Leaflets are available on topics such as understanding the bereavement process, with specific advice on coping with grief as a teenager, supporting a child when someone dies, practical and legal matters and organising a funeral. The charity last year elected to drop the word cancer from their logo to reflect the changing needs of people in the 21st century and have extended their services to include all patients with terminal illnesses.
