Emma Sinclair has joined the team!

Emma practises TCM Acupuncture and Qi gong Tui na Massage, both branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which have been developed and practised for over 2000 years. They follow the principle that the smooth flow of qi (energy) throughout the body is essential for good health. If this flow is disrupted in any way, pain or illness may occur. Both acupuncture and tui na work by accessing the pathways of qi and specific points along them to correct the flow. Acupuncture uses fine (sterilised and single use) needles to access points along the channels. Tui na utilises gentle massage techniques, focusing on a quieter, deeper approach to body work.

They are holistic in nature and aim to treat the root of health problems by seeing the whole person and not focusing on isolated symptoms and because of this they can be effective for a wide range of conditions. Treatments can be very relaxing and they are especially useful in helping to relieve anxiety and stress.

Emma will be available Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3pm to 6pm.  Please call the clinic on 01896 823399 for more information.
